Dr. Koch's Cook Book, published by Dr. Koch Vegetable Tea Co.,
Winona, Minn. I'm not sure about the relationship between
Dr. Koch and the Watkins empire, whether they were rivals or
fierce competitors. They certainly shared the same town!
This is a paperback booklet of 52 pages, published in 1927.
Cover is loose. The rest of the booklet is in excellent
condition.

Bull Cook and Authentic Historical Recipes and Practices.
Copyright 1969. Thirteenth edition. Written by George Leonard
Herter and Berthe Herter, this cookbook has Bat Masterson's
recipe for "Prairie Dog" (aka "hot dog,") Queen Astrid's (of
Belgium) recipe for salmon, and instructions on how to track,
kill, clean, and cook just about every creature on the planet.
This is the paperback version of the Herters' hard cover book,
containing all of the recipes and none of the (in my humble
opinion crazy) cultural history. 96 pages. Like new condition.
(Marked down from $20.00.)
