You know this is a first printing because of the tiny "A" under the "C" in "Charles Scrbner's" on copyright page. The novelist writes a good cookbook! From the most basic southern cooking to the most elegant, both recipes and menus, along with very entertaining conversational asides. Hard cover, 230 pages. No dust jacket. Pictorial cloth cover. Excellent condition. Binding solid. Some tiny spots on the outside edges of the page, and the "Mango Chutney" page has some pale spots. All other pages are clean.
