I don't know when the cover of the Household Searchlight Recipe Book's cover changed to the Searchlight Recipe Book, with the little Household symbol in the lower right hand corner. But, it did. This is the Searchlight Recipe Book, by The Household Magazine, from Topeka, Kansas. The title page still says The Household Searchlight Recipe Book, just not the cover. 300 pages of recipes from soup to nuts. Thumb indexed, with tabbed pages for categories like, "Fish and Wild Game" or "Icings and Fillings." Nearly fine condition-- the best we've ever had. The materials used for this binding must be sturdier than the embossed Household cover. Some thumb tabs rumpled.
