Entrees a la Mode by Harriet De Salis, 1903: Slim volume written by Harriet de Salis and published by Longmans, Green, and Co., London, in 1903. Hard cover book with 95 pages. Excellent antique condition. Mrs. de Salis wrote an entire series of a la Mode cookbooks. The first was Savouries a la Mode. In this book, Mrs. de Salis provides recipes for seafood, beef, mutton, lamb, pork, veal, calves feet, calves brains, sweetbreads, chicken, rabbit, partridge, pigeons, larks, woodcock, turkey, and more. She also has a chapter on cold entrees and another with sauce recipes.
